Delete your account

From the app (instant)

1. Open Oak and sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Tap the profile icon (top right) and go to “My account”.
3. Scroll down to “Danger zone” and tap “Delete my account”.
4. Confirm in the dialog. The account is deleted right away — this cannot be undone.

Without the app, by email

If you already uninstalled Oak or can’t sign in to that account, email us at support@oakwines.com.ar asking us to delete it, and include the email or Google account you used with the app. We process the request manually within up to 30 business days and confirm by email once it’s done.

What gets deleted

Your profile, your cellars, every bottle you logged (label photos and selfies included), your tasting notes, and your Bitácora (drinking log) history — whether you delete it yourself in the app or ask us to by email. Deletion is permanent; there is no way to recover it afterward.

Deleting in the app vs. asking by email

Deleting from the app is instant, but for a technical/security reason it does not reach two minor records: already-scheduled notifications and cellar-sharing grants you gave to (or received from) another person remain as orphaned entries with nothing that identifies you. If you ask for deletion by email instead, we process it with an internal tool that also cleans up those two records — everything else about your data is exactly the same either way.
